High fee on Atm card maintenance

The only problem I have with UBA is the money that they do deduct for card maintenance... The money is too much, I had to abandon UBA card, I refused to get one when my card expired since January...

They should work on their upgrade games

This was the account I was given during my NYSC back then and at first, I thought I would be able to enjoy the bank as they were not deducting money anyhow compared to other bank accounts opened for other Corp members from other platoon.
After I finished service, I decided to get an ATM card, cause there was no bank at all where I served.
I got my ATM card at their FUTA branch after parading like 3 different branches, but to my utmost surprise, it stopped working at exactly 6months, I went to their branch at alagbaka opposite first bank to complain and nothing was done, I had to request for another card, then again after exactly 6 months, it stopped working again.
That was why I stopped collecting card for the account and I opted for transfers from their app.
I received another shocker when I changed my phone and finds it difficult to log in to my app, due to some "upgrades" on the app.
It was at thus junction I withdrew my hands from uba matter

UBA keeps deducting money without explanation every time I’m credited.

Each time money is sent to my UBA account, an unexplained deduction follows. There’s no alert or explanation—just silent charges that feel routine now. It’s frustrating not knowing why my money is being taken. Banks should be transparent, but UBA hasn’t been. I just want clarity and accountability.

Stable network but excessive charges

I just started using UBA, the network is fairly okay but the charges are excessive, like it's way too much. And they should try and locate a branch office in Nasarawa Eggon.

UBA is not for me

UBA was my first bank in 2022. I was just using the bank because I had no option. They stress me over everything I do. I didn't want to use ATM card to avoid spending money, but to withdraw with teller then, they will refuse and I will start begging. Sometimes they will say my signature didn't match my account. I was forced to get an ATM card and they turn my student zero account to a minimum fee account.
Their customer support in Igaraa branch no nice, they are just angry every time I want to ask a question.

I stopped banking with them last year when I had the opportunity. I hope they've changed.

Bittersweet experience

I’ve been banking with UBA for a couple of years now, and honestly, it’s been a mixed experience. On the positive side, their mobile app is quite functional you can do most things like transfers, airtime top ups, and bill payments without needing to visit a branch. I also find the Leo chatbot on WhatsApp pretty handy for quick tasks.
However, there are times when the app lags or fails to complete transactions, which can be frustrating, especially when you're in a hurry. Also, resolving issues through customer care can take time. Sometimes you need to follow up more than once before getting a proper response.
UBA is still one of the more reliable banks I’ve used. They have a strong presence across Nigeria, and when things work smoothly, it’s a good experience. Just be ready for occasional delays, like with most banks here.

Unexplained deductions

UBA will just be deducting 200 each time my allawee drops.... No explanation for the deductions, it's more like a routine as it keeps happening for five months now

Secure pass unobtainable

I have tried all the steps and instructions to get a Secure pass for my Mobile Banking app, but I was told the user I specified was not eligible for a one-time password login. I can't log into my Mobile app for days now. it's so frustrating.
