I personally recommend GTBank to friends and family

This bank is trusted and customer friendly, I have never experienced any difficulties with GTBank. They last time I sent money to my GTBank account I received the cash immediately through an SMS and it makes me happy. No worries about my account balance and debit transactions because the bank will always update me through a prompt SMS alert.

Very good banking system

I’ve been using GTB app for some time now, and it’s very easy to use. Opening an account was fast, and I can do almost everything on my phone, even paying student students school fees to other country. Their service is much better now. I’m really happy with it.

Smooth App, But Customer Service Needs Work

GTBank has been my main bank for years, and I like how smooth their mobile app and internet banking is. Transfers go fast, and I rarely have issues with card payments or alerts. The *737 code* also makes things quick and easy, even without data.

But their customer service can be frustrating. Sometimes, when there's a failed transaction or a dispute, it takes too long to get feedback. You’ll call, and they’ll keep you waiting or ask you to go to the branch.

Overall, GTBank is good for everyday banking, but they seriously need to improve how they handle complaints and support.

One of the best

I love Gtbank, they are always the classics of all the banks I have used. The network is mostly reliable and back then in school, they were the only bank that gives mint money from their atm machine.

Lack of visibility and accessibility

GTBank is transparent, reliable, and charges minimal, fair fees.

GTBank has honestly been a great experience for me. Unlike other banks, they don’t hit you with random or excessive charges. Their maintenance fees are minimal and clearly explained. I feel like my money is safe and respected here. Plus, their customer service is responsive and helpful. It's refreshing to finally bank without constant frustration.

Could be better banking.

I've been having issues with my mobile app for the past 2 months and have been going back and forth your branch at city roundabout in Ondo town.

Yet it has been resolved still as I'm required to still use tokens despite resolutions.

Please work on your mobile app that’s only place I’m having problem with you the rest is okay

GTB is one of the best commercial bank I still love so much they didn’t deduct any how fees or charges like other commercial banks and if possible they want to deduct maintenance fees it usually minimal not that much like others but the only problem I having with them is their mobile app the app is being frustrating at time please your team should work on your mobile app

Limited physical structure

Unlike it's competitors like Access bank, first Bank and UBA, GT bank have very limited physical structure especially in rural areas which makes it difficult for us living in the rural area to make complaints, resolve issues quickly or even access certain services

Pending transactions

Which one is transfer pending for five hours now!! How do I get the items I was to buy from the market... This is really frustrating!!
