Review Time
Have been using Gtbank for over 7 years now and I can say when it comes to their Internet banking -the app,ussd code and service ,they are doing well but this I have against them,they are not well accountable for my money ,they remove unnecessary charges without giving me genuine or convincing reason for removing the charge,they are very good at disrupting my plans when it come to my money and with that am seriously considering changing my bank cos of that.
Gtbank has good online banking but please be more accountable for customers money.
The GTWorld mobile app has been good so far, just a few downtime and network issues. but please put this into consideration for your next update. In terms of airtime and data purchase, please there should be a confirmation, it should not be a one-click order. I accidentally clicked a 5000 naira data plan instead of a 500 naira plan and the order went through immediately without any confirmation at least if you don't want to implement use of the transfer pin for confirmation there should be a prompt message.
The service is top notch and it sweets my heart to be part of the community but the aspect of opening the app without an ATM should be looked into because at some cases someone might not want an ATM and the same time don't want to reach the bank and he or she cannot access their money through the mobile app.
Another thing is my app got logged out at some time when the internet is bad and you have to relogin again and this automatically change your limit for 48hrs which is not appropriate because I never did logout my account but it did by itself so, that should be fixed too, you can add additional verification process instead of locking it up for 48hrs, what if there was an hospital emergency and you know how most private hospital behaves in Nigeria, payment before attending to their patients, please look into this complaints, thank you
I can say that GTBANK is one of the banks that embrace modern technology of 21st century looking at how they run their services ,i have been using GTBANK for 5 yeras now. I appreciate their seamless method of getting ATM card , no stress of standing in a long queue inside the bank to get my ATM card.
Secondly, Friendly Customer Support. GTBANK has a lot of customer representatives that attend to customers saving me from waiting too long to be attended to. I witnessed that in GTBANK inside FUTA and also when i went to one of their lagos branch in Alausa ikeja.
GTBANK is a bank to reckon with. There USSD services is fast and reliable. It safes me to have access to there services even when i don't have data to use the app. I resort to USSD.
GTB is doing wonderfully well since i opened it on my phone dialing*737# over 7 years now during my undergraduate days in EKSU,no NEPA bill or unnecessary things asked, opening an account with them was seemless and I used it often in my undergraduate days with no hanging transactions or any complains at all.
GTB is also accountable with my funds cos I get alert from time to time and no unnecessary charges removed.
Up till present, I am still enjoying their services and their app works perfectly well on my phone,I buy data, airtime and pay for my startimes subscription.
I have been very disappointed with GTBank recently. For the past week, I noticed that they have been deducting 5 Naira from my account every single day without any clear explanation. This went on consecutively for several days, and it is completely unacceptable. Even though 5 Naira might seem small, these deductions add up, and they directly affected the plans I had for the money I kept in that account.
As a customer, I expect transparency and fairness, not random charges that eat into my balance without warning. This is not a good practice at all, and it makes me question the reliability of keeping my funds with GTBank. A reputable bank should never engage in such conduct. If this continues, it will drive customers away. I sincerely hope they review this kind of behavior because it reflects poorly on their brand
GTBank’s mobile app is one of the easiest I’ve used. Transfers are fast, and I get alerts instantly. I also like the 737 code super handy when there’s no data.
GTBank has been reliable for me. Their services are efficient, and I hardly need to visit the bank because most things can be done online. It’s just convenient all around.
When I was a student, I always follow my friends to withdraw money, l loved the fact that they could use fingerprint to collect money, beside the ATM theres also where you can request for a card omo it was soooooo nice that l had to open my own bank and since then no rubbish withdrawal of my money, smooth transfers and no challenges of any sort...l love GTB
I have been using GTBank for some years now and their service has been good, their customer's service is okay. Their mobile banking App too is doing well. But i think they need improve on their USSD because it doesn't always work well.
