GOtv is okay for everyday watching. Setup is easy and channels are mostly clear. But sometimes the signal drops out randomly, which can be frustrating. Customer service isn’t always quick to help either. Prices keep going up but the service stays the same. It’s affordable, but they definitely need to improve consistency.
GOtv Nigeria offers a fair variety of channels at a relatively affordable price, which I appreciate. The picture quality is generally okay, and the interface is simple to use. However, there are times when the signal drops unexpectedly, even when the weather is clear. Also, some of the customer service responses take longer than expected. Overall, it works fine most of the time, but there’s definitely room for improvement, especially in stability and support.
when I put on my gotv and was ready to watch my interesting movie I couldn't find it it was showing no signal and I was so so angry because my subscription has not yet expired so I decided to call them when I discussed it with them they ask me to change the direction of my atenal it looks so how funny to me but I just obeyed after changing the direction everything was now working fine
GOTV has been a broadcasting TV network I loved most and with their cheaper network charges compare to DSTV, despite this low charges compare to DSTV their network has been a major problem for me. Ending of last year (07-12-2024) I subscribed to a package for my family to watch and in the process of watching it always interrupted with No signal and at times it brings no channels found and reboot again, with all these I called their customer care to complain but directing me to change my antenna direction or I should check the cable behind the decoder maybe it wasn't contacting well to the decoder,by doing all these I was still experiencing same issues until I find out that it was everyone in my community that experienced such and all our subscription got wasted.
