The way this signal error is giving me problem is on speakable.. Because during rainy season like this, I know that they use to lost signal but this time around is becoming too much I can enjoy my subscription which is not good enough..
My DStv usage has been good until they started increasing their price. I enjoy the visuals and the fact that they have many channels to select for entertainment. The nternational news channel and Africa magic get me up but the pricing is outrageous.
With the nature of light in Nigeria I dey subscribe almost 20k for news and movies ha. I may change to another service provided soon if they don't review their pricing.
My DStv experience is nice with the visuals but I spend a lot these days just to subscribe and get entertained. I enjoy the international channels which is why I still renew subscription. I sub over 19k last month for compact which is too high to pay for this Ninja. My kids likes the kids channel but I don't enjoy the pricing. I dey manage to subscribe for months now.
I’ve been using DStv for years, and honestly, it’s been a mix of good and frustrating. On the good side, the picture quality is great, and they have solid content especially when it comes to sports, movies, and international news. Channels like SuperSport and Africa Magic really keep me entertained.
But the downside is the cost. The subscription fees keep increasing, and it doesn’t always feel worth it, especially with how often some programs are repeated. Also, during bad weather, the signal sometimes goes off completely.
I also feel like they need to improve their customer service response times can be slow, and resolving basic issues can take longer than it should.
That said, DStv still offers one of the widest channel selections, and if you’re big on live sports or Nollywood, it’s still a good option. Just be ready to pay a bit more and deal with a few inconveniences here and there.
In Shagari Village, our DStv stopped working after a power surge. I called their customer care with low hope, but they reset it quickly and even guided me through the remote settings. Honestly, I was shocked, I didn’t think they’d pick on a weekend.
Using DStv stream on my phone. I'm not happy with this latest update. 1. It freezes a lot. 2. In the past few days I have updated the app 3 times because in the middle of watching, it freezes and brings up the message to update, but nothing changes. Oh, and every update deletes all my downloads. 3. Catchup episodes are sorted in an ascending order. Having to scroll down all 259 episodes just to get to the one you want is not on. The previous one was working just fine. 4. Streaming doesn't update watched.
