Chai! My eyes have seen what I don't pray for my enemy in the hand of 9mobile. Just imagine doing data subscription but not able to use it till it expired. I did a daily subscription of 150mb for #150 on Tuesday 15th 2025 just to send an image to someone through WhatsApp. Funnily enough, it never went through. I was so stranded. I had to begged a stranger to hotspot me. 9mobile has the potential to be one of the best service provider in Nigeria but I don't know why it has not improved.
I switched to 9mobile hoping to cut down on my data expenses—great pricing, no doubt—but the network’s pretty unreliable, calls randomly drop, and getting help takes forever.
I Loved Etisalat, I dont recognise the scam called 9mobile. I so much trusted them then that I refused to get an MTN simcard since Etisalat gives me what I want from cheap data to good bonuses and uttermost good network, I opened all my bank app with the network, my NIN, bVN and my Academic registrations were done with my Etisalat as the recognised network.
Suddenly when they changed to 9mobile I suddenly started noticing most of the bonuses I got stopped, what made me displace the SIM was for over a month, I couldn't make call, browse the internet and get OTP code for sensitive transactions
I was so frustrated and wondered how bad and worse it had became
No one thought me, I got an MTN SIM the following day.
I relocated from the north down to Ondo state, and ever since, I have not been able to use the network for nothing.
It was the only network I was using before but since I could not use it ever since I relocated, I had to get another network provider.
I could not use it for calls, talk less of browsing, it's as useless as anything .
9mobile please try to increase your coverage because you have affordable data subscription plans that I have missed
I’ve been using 9mobile for a while now, and honestly, I’m very disappointed with their network quality. It’s just not reliable. Most times, the signal is either completely gone or too weak to load even a simple webpage—especially in places where other networks like MTN or Airtel work fine.
There are days I can’t make a clear call without the line breaking or cutting off, and using mobile data is another struggle. Even when I have full bars, browsing is super slow or doesn’t work at all. It's really frustrating when you’ve just subscribed to a data plan and can't even use it properly.
What makes it worse is that these issues have been going on for months without any real improvement. I’ve reached out to customer care a few times, but they only give generic responses like "we’re working on it"—nothing ever changes.
If you're looking for reliable internet or call quality, 9mobile is honestly not the best option right now. They really need to invest in improving their network coverage and stability.
I am very ashamed of 9mobile since they can't afford to be ashamed of themselves. your app closes on its own. Some days it doesn't even open or is it when we want to recharge it will still not go through when you need it. You are one of the biggest network provider in Nigeria yet you cant build a stable app that can meet the needs of your customer. You don have a development team or what? Money is obviously not the issue so what is the color of your problem???? I have just had enough of your app and network. Just like Nigerian government it seems sometimes (most times you dont know what you are doing. Do you want we your customers to contribute money for you to get good developers???? Dont even say anything about update!!! my app is up to date and my ios is the latest. I have don't everything to enjoy this app but you want yo frustrate us.
